Why become an MAKASS Member?

MAKASS is the leading pan-European organisation for knee-surgery, arthroscopy and sports traumatology.
We bring practitioners together and foster the sharing of research, of practical techniques and experience.
We organise courses, conferences and fellowships. Our aim is to improve the skills of all our members in every sense.

MAKASS membership offers many benefits, apart from the comradeship of your peers. As an MAKASS member you will receive access to our KSSTA journal and online material, you can also apply for fellowships and obtain various financial reductions.

EmeritusGranted to those who have retired from clinical work, but retain their scientific interest. It must be requested by a member and decided upon by the Secretary General or the Full BoardFree

MAKASS Membership is a continuous annual membership which begins on 1 January and ends on 31 December.
The MAKASS Board will examine your application both at the time of registration and at renewal (refer to MAKASS Statute 4.7 and MAKASS renewal procedure).

Existing members can change their member type but will need to reapply.
